Watercolor Dynamics with Margaret W. Fago

Watercolor Dynamics will have an emphasis on learning and practicing watercolor techniques, using color and developing composition from abundant natural subjects, your photos or found or brought objects.

It is geared toward the beginning to intermediate artist. No prior experience needed.

Margaret’s favorite subjects are water and nature oriented including birds, animals, people, streams, lakes, and boating. Daily demos will be followed by lots of time for you to paint. Come have some fun with us creating watercolor paintings.

A signature member of California Watercolor Association, Margaret Fago has been an artist since childhood when she painted “plein aire” alongside her mother. Her education continued throughout school with at least one art class every semester in High School and at UC Davis. She continued her art education with life drawing, classes with Karen Frey and week long painting workshops with watercolor greats like Frank Webb, Irving Shapiro and Jim Kosvanic.

Currently directing the Frank Bette Center she is also teaching watercolor classes there, showing her work at several locations in Alameda, San Francisco and Sausalito, and spending as much time as she can looking at and painting water.
