Dmitry Grudsky was educated in Russia and hold a Master Degree in fine Arts from the Tashkent Art Institute. This intensive training exposed him to a broad range of artistic styles, building on a strong foundation in Classical Western European art traditions. An accomplished artist, he has designed mosaics for public places.

Mosaic Exploration - Taught by Dimitry Grudsky

This class is designed for all levels of experience with mosaics. Students will learn tile setting, nipping, thin set and grout applications. Students will enhance their creativity by drawing and manipulating with primary/complementary colors. Table tops, flower pots, wall hangers and much more will be offered as class projects for you to take home. You can learn about this engaging craft even if you have no creative experience whatsoever.

A material/tool fee of $30 is payable to the instructor at the first class. Basic materials and tools are provided. Students are encouraged to seek out unique mosaic supplies such as: broken china, opaque stained glass, painted mexican tiles, marbles... Safety glasses, personal tile nippers are recommended.
