Arrival

With everyone arriving on Sunday afternoon and settling in, camp kicks-off with an orientation social. After dinner mingle with other art campers while enjoying becoming familiar with the instructors.

Daily Activities

Wake up and energize your day with an optional Chi-Gung/Tai Chi class.

Chi-Gung/Tai Chi

After breakfast all classes meet from 9:30 to 12:30. After lunch, the afternoon is free until 4pm to continue on projects started in the morning, converse, write, swim, hike, nap, read, intertube down the river, go into town, horseback ride, or hang out and relax - your choice.

In the late afternoon and after dinner a schedule of optional two-hour workshops with each of the other teachers are offered. This allows you to experience the other arts classes offered. Interaction with the other disciplines is integral and ongoing.

The week culminates in merry festivities with a Saturday afternoon art exhibit, poetry and story readings, games and performances.

Families and Friends

Family Arrangements:

Some art campers bring families or friends with whom they join in the afternoons. Adult Art Camp offers a special group rate for Adult Art Camp family members or friends who are not enrolled in art classes in Art Camp. “Friends” may opt to take only the afternoon and evening workshops. See rates in the registration section. Two compmlimentary workshops are given with their registration.There are plenty of family camp activities and other people for them to get to know while you are in your class.

There will be an art class for children ages 6 to 13. If the kid's class enrollement is big enough we will add a second instructor.

Teens may sign up for adult classes with their parent or guardian.
