This is the second year in which we will  offer childrens' classes for children who are accompanied by adults taking classes in Art Camp for adults. If there is a large enough enrollment there will be two kids' classes in two age groups-

ages 6 to 8
ages 9 to 13

If there are not enough for two groups all ages will be combined. This worked very well in the 2007 camp.

The class will offer a variety of fine-arts and crafts activities, including drawing, painting, basketry, nature collage, book-making etc.  Kids may attend some of the adult afternoon workshops as will be indicated on the weekly schedule. (The week schedule is given to all upon arrival at camp.) For workshops which are not kid appropriate, their will be kid appropriate workshops offered.

Instructors:  Blanka Soltys will be one of the teachers. She  has been an exhibiting artist,  teaching adults and children in the East Bay since 1987. She is graduate of the Art and Craft Institute in Prague, Czech Republic and Holy Names College in Oakland. The other intructor is to be arranged if there is a large enough enrollment.

Teens may sign up for adult classes with their parent or guardian.
18+ year olds  may sign up for adult classes independently.

* Due to this being the second year that kids classes are offered, the format and instructors may change according to how enrollment is progressing. Please contact Karen LeGault if you have any questions. about this.
