An "Undulating Seagrass" basket

is one of several types of baskets students will have an opportunity to craft.

 Walk into the past and learn some of the oldest techniques of basketweaving.  Participants will weave with plant fibers; some commercially prepared, and some natural.  We will use this knowledge to create sculptural forms.  Each one is unique because you choose the shaping and materials.

 

 Donna has been weaving and teaching for about 20 years. She has taught people of all ages, from first grade through senior citizens. Her pieces are a mixture of Japanese and Northwest traditions.
